Every year the farmers’ market has some young entrepreneurs setting up at the markPlaying music for some grandchildren.et.  Unfortunately, their booths can sometimes get lost amidst all the grown ups.

This year we want to embrace these young farmers, crafters, artists, and bakers by giving them one Saturday a month to showcase their talents and products without the expense of a booth fee.

This June 7th will be the first Youth Market at the Jasper Farmers’ Market.

Following that, every first Saturday of each month during the season, Children 12 and under can set up a booth, free of charge, to sell their  items.  All market rules still apply and items must be grown, baked, or made by the child or the child must play a significant role in the process.

We hope to see more of you participate and hope to see more visitors interested in what you are doing now that we have set aside these days for you.

…and if it rains on the first Saturday, the following Saturday will be the backup.

(Children wanting to sell drinks should have their parents contact the market at Info@JasperFarmersMarket.com.  Some guidelines must be followed to meet the requirements from the local health department.)
