Become a Vendor

How do I become a vendor?

Vendors must read the packet and complete the form linked below. To summarize, vendors must make, bake, or grow what they are selling. Details are in the links below.

Member vendors should mail their checks ahead of market or contact the market via Facebook. Returning members have dibs on their previous location.

Starting in 2023 all food vendors (except for produce only) must have a food handler certificate, at a minimum.

In 2025, Indiana published a Home-Based Vendors Guide. It is strongly recommended you read this as we will be updating our documents to reflect what is in here.

On July 1, 2026, an update to Indiana’s cottage laws (HEA 1424, 2026) will go into effect. This law is for homestead vendors and small farm operators. Being that we are a producer market, vendors may only sell produce grown or foods made by the vendor. Homestead/SFO vendors must meet those same requirements. Details are in the links below. Please read them thoroughly and ask any questions you may have.

These pages are likely to change as we navigate updates or guidance from the state and as we try to simply requirements while still protecting the integrity of a producer market.
