Become a Vendor

How do I become a vendor?

Vendors must read the packet and complete the form linked below. To summarize, vendors must make, bake, or grow what they are selling. Details are in the packet.

Member vendors should mail their checks ahead of market or contact the market via Facebook. Returning members have dibs on their previous location.

Starting in 2023 all food vendors (except for produce only) must have a food handler certificate, at a minimum.

In 2025, Indiana published a Home-Based Vendors Guide. It is strongly recommended you read this as we will be updating our documents to reflect what is in here.

On July 1, 2026, an update to Home-Based Vendors laws will go into effect. Due to the nature of the new law and the introduction of new terms (e.g. homestead vendors vs home-based vendors) more guidance from the state is expected. Until then, the previously linked Home-Based Vendors Guide is our standard.
